Calcite snapper is really good in limited if you're heavy blue. A virtual wall with shroud is strong; and if you can clear a board with whiplash trap type effects and beat in for the win, this guy can help you bash in. I think blue is on the rise with this set.

Samuel, thanks for the excellent commentary. Agreed on the very large Steppe Lynx front. Good call.

As for your Azorius Chancery combo that you had happen to you (in relation to Tidefore Elemental) let me explain how that suddenly becomes not worthless. Steppe Lynx. Wow, is that a 12726358/12726359 Steppe Lynx? Oh, it is? Ok, GG.

Selective Memory has one use, and it's a deck I've been looking at for a while. Essentially, you use it with Mirror of Fate. Mirror of Fate is on the field, you exile all cards including another Mirror of Fate, and congrats, you can now stack your deck however you want for the rest of the game. I think it would work, but that's the only real reason I think anybody would play it, and I don't think it's actually good enough to be Type 2 Awesome.
