Johnny: I hadn't really considered white, although the Serra Angel did not go unnoticed. I don't consider Armoured Ascension a bomb, just because with common Doom Blades and Lightning Bolts (In a 6 booster sealed), Auras just open you up to getting hit 2 for 1 in response. I see that it could be potentially game-winning, but it depends on whether or not you want to take that risk. As well, I think that the later green cards are a bit better than those in white, although I do lament not playing Serra Angel. It's creatures get outclassed relatively quickly, and I don't think that going all-out aggro without a more consistent late-game is viable in this for format.

I think white should have been your main color. White has several bomby cards including Serra Angle and Armored Ascension. It also had a solid creature base, including 11 creatures, more than the 10 Green creatures you had.

Here's a possible build:

# 1 Silvercoat Lion
# 1 Safe Passage
# 1 Stormfront Pegasus
# 1 Rhox Pikemaster
# 2 Veteran Armorsmith
# 1 Armored Ascension
# 1 Serra Angel
# 1 Griffin Sentinel
# 1 Elite Vanguard
# 1 Razorfoot Griffin
# 1 Palace Guard
# 1 Siege Mastodon

# 1 Prodigal Pyromancer
# 1 Bogardan Hellkite
# 1 Magma Phoenix

# 1 Rise from the Grave
# 2 Doom Blade
# 1 Assassinate

# 1 Whispersilk Cloak
# 1 Gorgon Flail

9 Plains
5 Mountains
4 Swamps

Nick: Yes, and you can be sure that that particular combo stalled off a few beaters during my games.

James: I agree, Looking back I think my mana base was quite wrong. I think that I could have made the red in the deck deeper, so as to ensure that my bombs would be able to come down with some regularity. I only wish Magma Phoenix could have come down so many more times than it did. Regarding Whispersilk Cloak, I think I had it underrated, as the protection from removal is extremely potent. Maybe I'm just reminiscent of all the Shatter effects that are potentially maindecked in Alara Block.

Wes: I included Tendrils just because cards like Prodigal Pyromancer and Looming Shade get to me, and it has a decent chance of taking them out. In retrospect, I do think that the consistency of the deck would have been better sans Tendrils, or else without the red.

CopySix: This is the problem with opening a few off-colour bombs that require a high colour commitment. Do you make your mana more consistent but lessen the number of amazing topdecks, or do you run the risk of not being able to cast certain spells while having a higher chance of pulling out an amazing answer? This is one of the questions that many Limited players must answer to some degree, and one that takes alot of practice to answer correctly. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.

Looks like Green / Black was the way to go with your pulls. Not altogether sure if I would have personally splashed red but it does seem you did well enough. Very cool that you were able to get your hands on the Archdruid.

I wouldn't have included Tendrils. As good as it is in limited, it really requires a heavy black commitment for it to be worth it. Dropping tendrils gives you room for an extra mountain, and maybe drop one Forest for a fifth mountain? Glad you had fun anyway.

i think the double red wouldn't have been a problem had you run more mountains. your forest need wasn't so bad that you needed to run 9x. 7x would have been fine...prob' more than fine considering only 2 spells had double green. i also think that whispersilk cloak is a LOT better than gorgon flail. i mean, unblockable is ridiculous. slap that baby on stampeding rhino? damn.

I'm bummed I missed out on the Prerelease!!! Gorgon Flail... Seems like it would be a great addition to Wall of Bones, given the right situation. Glad you had fun!
